Yvonne
Rope

Yvonne enjoys training and educating people in the area of health and nutrition.  She’s been coaching people in fitness and running for over 30 years.

She discovered CrossFit in 2010 when a guest speaker invited her to bring the members of her running clinic to the ‘box’ (gym) for a WOD (workout of the day).  Her first WOD consisted of sumo deadlift high pulls and lateral burpees. It was all around a rough first experience, but the fact that she finished got her hooked.

Her passion for baking and eating right, has inspired her line of gluten free and paleo products available in the cafe —  that are ‘tasty goodness’ with every bite.

When not coaching or baking, she’s busy doing freelance writing, or working on her book – “Zooming across Canada”.

He enjoys teaching others, seeing people work together in a competitive environment, and achieving new personal records (PR’s) in their lifts.

Alex first got involved in CrossFit when Yvonne and Jim dragged him to a class to try it in 2010.  He got hooked on CrossFit after his very first class (Burpees and Double Unders).
