JimJim

Jim recently completed a successful 32-year career with Toronto Fire Services, 14 of which he was in the role of “Captain.” His lifelong commitment to staying fit and active includes hockey, baseball, running, jumping out of planes, weightlifting and general fitness.

His love for a good cup of coffee stirred his desire to open a café to provide customers with the perfect drink to accompany a healthy snack. He is also a connoisseur of post workout (PWO) shakes that provide protein and healthy nutrients to repair and refuel your body.

Yvonne 
Rope

Yvonne enjoys training and educating people in the area of health and nutrition.  She’s been involved in the fitness industry for over three decades.  Her experience includes strength and mobility coaching, yoga, running and getting results for her clients.

Her passion for baking and eating right, has inspired her line of gluten free and paleo products available in the cafe — that are ‘tasty goodness’ with every bite.

When not coaching, she’s busy doing freelance writing, or working on her book – “Zooming across Canada”.

Alex is a graduate of the Police Foundations Program and was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 4 years before joining the coaching staff and has completed multiple schools in the Military that stressed both small unit leadership in stressful environments as well as technical and tactical proficiency. He is a strong supporter of a mind-over-matter mentality when it comes to physical fitness, and believes in strong personal discipline in regards to maintaining a healthy diet and work-out routine.

He enjoys teaching others, seeing people work together in a competitive environment, and achieving new personal records (PR’s) in their lifts.
